Kenneth Smith - Nottingham BRC

Kenneth Smith is Professor of Metabolic Mass Spectrometry; Manager, Stable Isotope Mass Spectrometry Facility, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences.

His research interests include Human Physiology, Clinical Nutrition, Physical Activity, Endocrinology, Isotopes Stable, Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry, Skeletal Muscle Aging, Muscle Proteins. The lab is housed at the Royal Derby Hospital Postgraduate Entry Medical School under the auspices of our UK Medical Research Council/Arthritis Research UK Centre of excellence for musculoskeletal ageing research, and the newly awarded NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) under a clinical musculoskeletal theme.
