Liz Simpson - Nottingham BRC

Liz Simpson is currently Senior Research Fellow in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Nottingham, and has extensive experience in designing, managing and running both healthy human and patient in vivo human research projects. She holds a BSc (Biochemistry and Medical Cell biology) from the University of Liverpool, trained as a nurse in Nottingham, and has a PhD from the University of Nottingham. Her current research projects include addressing the metabolic consequences of over consumption of energy using nutritional and physical activity interventions, and the vascular effects of cocoa polyphenols.
