Professor Penny Gowland - Nottingham BRC

Professor Penny Gowland develops Magnetic Resonance techniques to enable us to perform completely novel, non-invasive investigations into human biology for biomedical applications.

As a physicist, Penny understands the potential power of quantitation in medical imaging and uses it to enable powerful studies in experimental medicine. Penny has a particular interest in metabolic disorders, fetal development and brain function.
