Irritable Bowel Syndrome

What's involved:
Patients who take part in this trial will be asked to:
- Take a new medication for 12 weeks (a drug called ondansetron)
- Record their symptoms every day
- Make six visits to the clinical research facilities at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham
You may be asked to have additional tests looking at bowel sensitivity and contractions.

The TRITON trial is investigating the use of a new drug treatment for adults with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and diarrhoea (IBS-D).
