    The study is using MRI scans to look at changes in the brain. To take part you should be:

    • Aged 65-75
    • Have a diagnosis of COPD
    • Be a current or former smoker

Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are known to have changes in their smaller blood vessels within the body, in particular within the brain and the kidneys. This study is looking at what happens in the brain and heart during exercise in people with COPD and people without COPD.

What's involved
