Prof Phil Quinlan has developed a career in data systems for biomedical research and heads up our Informatics Theme, as well as lead for HDR UK programmes including Co-Connect.

He has been among the UK's leaders in terms of maximising use of data resources to tackle serious health problems such as COVID-19.
